Full Membership: Any current owner of a Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle may be eligible for full membership in the North Carolina Chapter 1-7, Vulcan Riders Association (also known as Charlotte VRA).  Riders must own any model of Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle.

Prior to accepting an application for full membership, an applicant is required to attend a monthly meeting to meet the officers and members. You may also be asked to ride if we feel it is deemed necessary. This ride may occur during a regularly-scheduled chapter ride or may be separately scheduled.  One or more club Officers or other club members designated by the club President will assess a riders basic skills to ensure that the rider is capable of riding safely on the road and has the appropriate attitude to participate in group rides with our club.  We perform this assessment to ensure the safety of all of our club members.  If a rider is judged not ready to participate in club group rides, they may be afforded the opportunity to improve their skills by riding in small informal rides with club Officers or other club members.

Club dues are $20.00 per membership year, which runs from June 1 through May 31.  New members whose membership is accepted after December 31 will receive dues credit for the following membership year.

Our membership application form is available online. Please read the following before submitting your application for review.

1. The aforementioned Motorcycle is comprehensively insured.

2. At no stage shall I take legal action against, or seek damages or compensation 
 financial or otherwise from the Vulcan Riders Association, its chapters, 
 its members and office bearers, as result of a motor vehicle/motorcycle 
 accident, mishap or misadventure whilst taking part in a Vulcan Riders 
 Association activity.

3. I agree to abide by the rules and regulation of the Vulcan Riders Association 
 as specified in the Charter of the Vulcan Riders Association.

4. All family members nominated for membership below agree to abide by 
 the rules and regulation of the Vulcan Riders Association as specified
  in the Charter of the Vulcan Riders Association and the conditions 
 of membership specified above.

5. I agree that this membership is effective for (1) one full year upon 
 receipt of initial dues of $20.00 ($10.00 Associate Member) 
  for the current membership year (June 1st to May 31st) 
 Memberships processed after October 1st will also receive 
 credit for the following membership year. A membership 
 card stating my chapter standing will be mailed accordingly.
 

Associate Membership: A full member can nominate their spouse/partner, children, or other immediate family members for associate membership.  Associate members dues are only $10.00 per membership year and may not vote at chapter meetings, but associate members are encouraged to participate in all club events.  If an associate member acquires a Vulcan motorcycle and meets other full membership requirements, they may apply for their own full membership.

Existing Full Members can nominate family/friends for Associate Membership by emailing the club Secretary. Associate members that are not family to a full member, will need to submit there own membership application for review by the board.
